Passed away peacefully on Friday, August 11, 2017 in Chino Hills, California; he was born on February 17, 1928 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Alfred and Hazel (Schmenkel) Cole.
Roy served his country in the United States Navy and went into law enforcement after being discharged. He was in law enforcement for 30 years, retiring from the Ontario Police department. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and skeet shooting, also being out in the great outdoors.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen; his children and their families, Bryon Cole, Roy Cole, Jack Cole and Gail McCloskey; his brother Roger Cole; thirteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
There will be a celebration of Roy's life on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at 10:30am at Miller-Jones Mortuary 26770 Murrieta Rd., Sun City, California 92586. He will be laid to rest at Riverside National Cemetery.
