Sharon Elaine Lewis passed away at the age of 83, on Friday, January 7, 2022, in Paso Robles, California. She was born on Tuesday, June 7, 1938, in Yucaipa, California, to Violas Surber and Mary (Flory) Surber.
While Sharon balanced her career as an Optometric Assistant, she was an amazing wife and dedicated mother. She was married to the love of her life, her best friend, Robert Lewis, for 61 wonderful years before his passing in October of 2018. They were blessed with five children that would later make Sharon a grandmother as well. She was a phenomenal, strong woman, with a heart of gold. In her spare time she enjoyed playing the piano and serving God.
Sharon is survived by her loving children, Michael Lewis, Steven Lewis, Sandra Vanhassel, and Kristi Rosales; her 17 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lewis; her daughter, Teresa Evans; and 2 grandchildren, Joel Lewis and Karissa Evans.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at 1:00 PM, at Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA.
