

Sinora Harper was born on April 9, 1920 in Shreveport, Louisiana to the late Luther and Georgia Mae Leffall. She was the oldest of four children. Two brothers, Luther Emeal Leffall Jr., Lindsay Leffall and one sister Myra Hatchett, preceded her in death.
She was introduced to the Lord at an early age. Her family moved to Dallas, Texas where she attended high school and Bishop College.
She married Alvin E. Harper on November 14, 1942 in Tucson, Arizona and to this union one daughter, Brenda, was born. They moved to Los Angeles, California in 1944 where she joined Tabernacle of Faith Baptist Church. She was active on the usher board.
In 1955, they moved to Perris, California where she became a member of First Baptist Church of Perris in 1957. She was an active member doing Gods work until her health failed. She was President of the Usher Board, financial secretary of the church, sang in the choir and a member of the Mission Board.
Sinora was affiliated with many social and charitable organizations including the Socialites and the Eastern Stars. She enjoyed bowling, keno and dancing.
She leaves to cherish her memories: Spouse Alvin E. Harper, daughter Brenda Lee (Frank); two grandchildren, Loran Reynolds (Daria) and LaDeana Adams (Robert); nine great grandchildren, Corey, Mathew, Marcellous (T.J), Bria, Aubriah, Alexa, Carissa, John, and Jensis, one great great grandchild, Khamai and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
