She was born Saturday, July 5, 1930 in Los Angeles, California to the late Refugio Cuenca and the late Isidra (Galaviz) Cuenca.
Socorro's hobbies included: spending time with family and friends, good conversation, sewing and gardening. She was very proud of her roses.
Preceding her in death is her husband of 60 years Luis S. Garcia; daughter Martha Corona; grandson, Michael Garcia; siblings Alicia Cuenca, Antonio Cuenca and Mercedes Cuenca as well as both of her parents.
She is survived by her sons, Manuel Garcia and Louie Garcia, daughter, Josie Guzman; 12 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; brother, Jorge Cuenca; sister, Helen Lang; poodle, Ollie and numerous other family members and friends.
