Usenia Latai Lakepa Taulanga

Usenia Latai Lakepa Taulanga (35), is being laid to rest on September 30th, 2022. Nia, as she was known to family and friends, is the second of three children and the only daughter born to Olila Funa and Viliami Taulanga. She was born on July 1st, 1987, in Liverpool, New South Wales, Australia. During her life, Nia would reside in a number of different towns, but it was in the Hemet/San Jacinto valley where she would graduate high school (Alessandro High School 2005), get married, and raise her children.

Nia loved music and to be surrounded by people enjoying life. Her life was touched and influenced by many people she would befriend and share fond memories with. She was passionate and protective over the things in her life important to her. There are many younger cousins, nieces and nephews who can recall Nia’s maternal instincts and love well before she became a mother.

Nia is survived by her parents Olila Funa (mother), Viliami Taulanga (father), her children Niani Issako (daughter) and King Alex Issako (son), her brothers Viliami Jr. and Sione, and their families (Nikki, Viliami Leka, Olila Sii & Cydnie and Jackson).

Nia’s family wants to send a special thanks to her family and friends who were there to support Nia and her children throughout the past few years of her life. Your kindness, love, and helping hands will never be forgotten. Nia is now reunited with our loving Heavenly Father and family members who have preceded her to the other side. Her surviving family members appreciate the overwhelming outpour of love and support from those who knew her during her time with us.

Nia, we love you and you will be missed. This isn’t goodbye, this is just, take care until we see each other again.
