Vera Moreland, 87 of Carlsbad, California, passed away on Friday, August 24, 2012, at Vista Care B and C, in Vista, California. She was born Saturday, August 8, 1925, in Pennsylvania, to the late Chalice Kagarise and Mary Lamborn.
Vera is survived by her niece, Michelle Robinson of Carlsbad, Ca; her two nephews, William Kagarise of Pennsylvania, and Harry Kagarise of Florida. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 44 years, Charles N. Moreland.
Vera was a caring person; she was always there to help others. She enjoyed playing shuffleboard, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Monday, August 27, 2012, at McWane Family Funeral Home, 350 N San Jacinto Ave, Hemet, CA, 92543.
A Funeral Service will be at 1:00 PM on Monday at McWane Family Funeral Home. Interment will be in Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, CA, at a later date.
