Uncle Bill, I can’t believe that I am here at your funeral. I feel a bit cheated that we couldn’t have spent more time together. More than anything, I loved hearing your stories and just hanging out. I’m grateful for the time that I did spend with you. I admired your garden, your fun attitude, your zest for life, and your dedication to family. May you rest in piece my friend.

You couldn't have a better friend than Bill. In all the years I knew him he was always generous. When my husband died, Bill was the first person to reach out to me with help. He rushed out to Palm Desert from Redlands to bring me cash and make sure I had everything I needed. Through the years Bill always looked out for me--coming to visit and grill steaks for me, bringing me delicious vegetables from his garden, and just keeping  me company.

I was very appreciative of the time he spent with me, and grateful that he included me in trips to Laughlin and Las Vegas, and the occasional cruise! I He was always great company.

I will miss his kind spirit and good company.

Bill you were a great father-in-law (I got the bean pot!!!) you spoiled me and my kids. I’ve missed you over the past 3 years and wish we would have stayed in touch. I miss brunches and concerts and cruising with you. Love you.

Uncle Bill I was so happy to have gotten the chance to meet you. You were so full of life and knowledge and had so many stories to share. It will always be a great memory talking and laughing with you walking up the driveway at Nikki's lol. You are loved and will be truly and greatly missed. Mike was surprised at all the things he learned about his parents younger years through your stories. The love you shared and the great man you were will live on in all of our hearts and in trying to pass on your stories to the next generation. We wish we could have had more time. Words can't really express how I feel. You were my best friend, my hero, anfd the greatest Dad a person could ever have. I will miss everything about you. You took me to so many places, sportin events, fishing, trips, you always included me and made sure i had the time of my life. I miss you so much, and think of you everyday. I love you so much please watch over me and kids and all our family. Love your son, Jason.

Uncle Bill, you were a joy in my life and I will really miss you.  You were always laughing, joking, sharing stories, loving and caring.  As I walked into a room, I can fondly remember you saying, "Hey girl."  It always made me smile.  The last 5 years have been amazing and we enjoyed several trips together, for instance, Indiana, Disney, Universal Studios, Medieval Times (front row seats), parks, garage sales (just me and you), cook outs and dinners.  Keller took you fishing in Utah and for a small ride on the four wheelers (not your favorite).  Bodhi was your garden buddy and is so so sad about your passing as are the other children.  You have left a positive impact on our lives and you should be proud.
