Anna Maria Jaramillo-Davis

Anna Maria Jaramillo-Davis, age 67, of Caliente, Nevada passed away on Saturday, August 14, 2021. She was born at the family home on July 8, 1954 in Las Vegas, New Mexico to her parents Luis Ignacio Jaramillo and Carolina Lucinda Trujillo. At an early age, the family relocated to Henderson, Nevada where Anna was raised with her nine siblings, and would attend Basic High School.

On November 13, 1970, Anna would marry the love of her life, Robert Davis; at a private civil wedding in Boulder City, Nevada. Little did they know at the time that they were starting a journey that would span over 51 years. In their early years, the couple enjoyed taking trips to Tijuana, where they would go fishing and shopping. Anna loved to dance, teaching her husband to dance, so they could often enjoy outings to Troubadour dance hall. The couple were blessed with three children; and as their family grew; they were blessed with seven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

Anna was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who centered her life around her family, her faith, and her home. She was a life-long catholic, who was outgoing, energetic, and loved the outdoors. She enjoyed taking family trips to Duck Creek, Mount Charleston, and the Lake; baking cookies with her grandchildren, watching old movies and her QVC on television, and going to the local bar to play her favorite slots. Anna was also a lover of animals and cherished her pets. She loved her dogs: Joe and Kylie, and her pet ferret, Ezra who passed away; and her more recent dogs Rascal and Astro. Anna was adventurous, kind and had a heart of gold; and will be truly missed.

Anna was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Eric; and four of her siblings. She is survived by her husband, Robert; children: Robert (Tania) and Andrea, seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; and five siblings.

A visitation for Anna will be on Friday, August 27, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Funeral services will on Saturday, August 28, 2021 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM, both at Palm Boulder Highway Mortuary, 800 South Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV 89015. Anna will be laid to rest at Palm Henderson Cemetery, 800 South Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV 89015.
