

Clarence graduated from Tumon Heights High School and went on to continue his education at Northrop Institute of Technology in Los Angeles, California, where he received his degree in mechanics and his A & P license. Clarence worked for Pan American World Airways, Continental Micronesia Airlines, and with United Airlines, as an aircraft mechanic until retiring in 2011 in Guam. He and his lovely bride relocated to Henderson, Nevada in 2013.
Clarence met and married the love of his life, Nacrina on September 30, 1967. He was loving husband, father and grandfather, whom enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing both deep sea and traditional Chamorro technique, golfing, and fixing cars. In his leisure time, Clarence, liked watching fishing TV shows, watching golf, and was always willing to try exotic foods, specifically seafood. Clarence was a man of few words, but had a great sense of humor. He was a Jack of all trades, always willing to lend a helping hand, never expecting anything in return. He will truly be missed.
Clarence was preceded in death by; father, Pedro Mendiola; mother, Carmen Mendiola; and son, David Mendiola. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Nacrina; daughter, Christine Rosario and her husband, Richard; granddaughter, Kilee Mendiola; grandson, Cole Rosario; and sisters, Carol Atwood and Diane Hosking.
A visitation for Clarence will be held Saturday, February 17, 2018 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM, both at Palm Henderson Mortuary, located at 800 South Boulder Highway, Henderson, Nevada 89015. Entombment will follow at 12:00 PM at Palm Henderson Cemetery.
