Geno and his wife Karen would have celebrated their 40th anniversary this year.
He had a long career as a plumber in California and Las Vegas, Nevada. Geno proudly served his country during the Vietnam War and received two purple hearts for his sacrifice for his country.
He was an avid Raiders and New York Yankees fan, He loved going to Sunset Station for the sports games and beer.
Geno is proceeded in death by his son, Bryan Berney and his parents; Eugene Berney, Sr. and Ruth Berney.
He is survived by his wife, Karen, daughters; Shannon (David) cyndie (Kyle), his sons; Clay (Shannon) Nick, his grandchildren; Madeline, Christian, Bishop, MacKenzie, Lochlan, Reagan, Conlan; great grandsons; Samuel, Barrett, siblings; Roger,Terry (Mike), Mary, Richard (Vickie), Fran and many nieces and nephews.
A service with Military Honors will be held on Thursday, April 3 at 1:20 pm at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive Boulder City, Nevada 89005.
