" Three days ago we said our final good-byes to Frank,and I still can not believe  he is not with us anymore... I met Frank in Spring of 2010, just a little  over two years, but it feels like I knew him all my life. That's how he made us feel being around him. What a kind, loving, caring man he was. Forget about being funny. We had a lot of good laughs and jokes together, which will be definitely missed. Also great conversations about history( he was awesome in that!) and music he loved. He was the "talker", but that's what I loved about him so much. It was such a pleasure to be around him.
 Frank is gone, but we get to keep great memories about him. My favorite- camping together in Kaibab just last July. I feel lucky that we get to do that together. I know, my kids will never forget this trip.
 Another thing is I would like to mention, which really made me feel even more appreciated to Frank for all his kindness. On the camping trip he asked me when my girls going back to school.I said, " On 23rd of August". Then Frank turned to Barbara, and said, "We have to go see kids before school." And they both did come on 17th of August. I was just so touched by his kindness  and care showed to my girls.( and us too) We had a wonderful weekend together, which happened to be last time we saw him, but I am so grateful for it. I will miss Frank a lot, but he will be always on mine mind,... Rest in peace,....

My favorite memory about Frank is a "staring contest". We were competing who would win it, and Frank would always win, because he had the scariest look in his eyes.Frank was nice to me and funny. At the camping trip he showed us lots of interesting things like a dead butterfly, dear bones. He took us to Grand Canyon park.We saw wild turkeys and bisons together. That was very fun.

Frank and I were good friends in a tight-knit Baha'I community of families and friends and we never lost that. Even if we didn't communicate for months or even years, we could always pick up right where we left off the last time we saw each other. As if no time had passed.
Frank always liked to tell the story of how I dragged him out on an asphalt basketball court under the hot mid-afternoon sun of March, while we were fasting, to play some one-on-one. It was always intense because basketball was a full contact sport to Frank, but it was always fun. I loved listening to him tell that story.
I took Frank under my wing and helped him learn the carpentry trade working for Gil Marzoline doing framing on a home Gil was working on. Frank and I got some peace work putting shake shingles on homes in the middle of the hot Vegas Summer, an experience he and I never forgot. Later, we were on a framing team with my brother Mike and Steve Barber. Those were good times.
Whenever I would come to Henderson to visit, Frank and Barb were always willing to sacrifice doing what was comfortable for them to doing something up at Grandma's house with me. Or going to a movie with anyone who would go along. Barb and Frank and I were always up for that.
And, of course, Frank and I could always talk about our days and experiences in the Army in Germany. We were in different places and we didn't know each other then but, it was a common thread we shared.
Frank could be cantankerous but he was a good hearted person and, as Barbara has told me, he was her talker and for all of us too.
I hoped Barb and Frank could have spent some quality times enjoying their Golden Years after working hard all their young lives and sometimes, like us all, struggling to get by. But, as much as I would like to at times, I am not running this show and my will cannot be.
I got through my father's funeral comments without shedding a tear but, I don't think I could have gotten through this one the same way because Frank was taken much too young.
I will miss you Frank, we will all miss you. But, we will all be together again someday. That is for sure.

I have been wrestling all week trying to think about what I wanted to say about Frank.  He has been in our lives for over 40 years and we will sorely miss him.  Barb recently remined me that we called Frank & Ted "the outlaws".  They were the odd men out brother-in-laws among the large Bagstad clan.  They have both added so much to our family dynamic.  I will carry fond memories of our family gatherings at G & G Bagstad's house.  When the family from Mesa, AZ would come to visit, Barb,Frank nieces, nephews and their families would always take time out their busy schedules to come over to the house to spend time with us.  I remember getting a big bear hug from Frank when we arrived and when we had to leave.  I am so greatful that he and Barb were able to visit us a short while ago at our home in Mesa.  We did not do much but spent time relaxing, talking for hours and eating.  Frank was the best brother-in-law a person could have.  We will miss enjoying the 49er and Giants games with Frank.  We would gather at Grandma's house and cheer our favorite teams on.  Ted and Frank both hailed from the Bay area and imparted their love of the area to their families.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to Barb and her family.  Frank, we will miss you so much but you will remain in our hearts.

" Frank was an amazing and funny man. I loved when we went camping together and he thought us many things about camping. Not to long ago he came with Barbara to visit for a few days and we went to the La Brea Tarpits, he told us many historical and fun facts about everything we saw. I will dearly miss Frank and his fun games we played together. I only knew him for a couple years but I really loved him. I know he loved chess and good old 60's music. I will always think of Frank and never forget the fun memories we had . . ."

We seem to think we will live forever and it strikes us hard when we lose some one we care for very much.I had the honour of putting up with frank at work for several years,and think of him regularly.Now I will always regret not visiting with him will he was alive ,but he will always be rememberd by his friends and family.

Uncle Frank, I love you and I will miss you. I have very fond memories of living in Henderson and visiting you and Aunt Barbara and planting Pinto Beans in your yard.  Aunt Barbara, Drew, Brooke, and Chelsea my heart and prayers go out to you.

My brother Frank was my hero when we were young and will always be in my heart. He had a great sense of humor and he loved his family so. My condolences and heart felt sympathy to Barb and his children.

Such a cantankerous, kind, funny, guy.  I loved running into you in the grocery and anywhere and jawing with you.  Your lively and loving person will be missed by many.

My Dad was an amazing man; he loved and took great care of his family. I know he felt lucky to have us all in his life but we were the ones that were truly lucky. He loved us all took care of us all and that was enough for him, he never asked for anything for himself. He wanted nothing more than for us to be happy. 
I know there were times I made it very hard for him to love me, but he did always, even when I know I hurt him. My life and the life I have had with my children was made possible because of my mom and dad.  They were there for me no matter what. 
Dad used to tell me when I was little I picked the wrong parent to be my favorite he had no power but it was his love for me that made him so special.  I know it is selfish and he would have never wanted to have a drawn out illness or confined to a bed but I want that opportunity to take care of him tell him I love him, the way he did for us every day. 
My Dads love for me showed in his every action and I can't imagine my life without that love.
All I can do is say thank you for all of the love you gave, how you took care of me and just being my Dad.
I love you with all my heart and will miss you every day until we meet again.

We will miss you Frank. Your love touched many hearts. My condolences to all.

Frank was my uncle. He contributed so much to my childhood whether camping or at family gatherings. Frank knew more facts about the world than anyone I knew (no one beat him at Trivial Pursuit). I will miss him deeply.
