Irma "Sally" Gallegos

Irma "Sally" Gallegos, age 81, of Henderson, Nevada, passed away on Friday, August 8, 2025. She was born on May 26, 1944, in Winslow, Arizona, to Atanacio and Adelina Guardian. Irma graduated from Winslow High School, class of 1963.

On November 12, 1967, Irma married her high school sweetheart, Fred Gallegos, and they were married until his passing on February 24, 2013.

Irma was a loving mother, a good friend, and a great listener. She was an avid reader and loved listening to her music. She lived her life for her home and her family, and will truly be missed.

Sally is survived by her children: Fred David, Gilbert, Lisa, and Elena; her siblings: Frank (Victoria) and Beatrice (Jesse); grandchildren: Nika, Elizabeth (Malcolm), Elijah (Arlene), and Rico (Cynthia) and Ciera; nine great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred; her father, Atanacio; her mother Adelina; siblings: Raul and Adeline; and her grandson, David Anthony Montoya.

A funeral mass for Sally will be held Thursday, August 28, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, 204 S Boulder Hwy, Henderson, NV 89015. Following the funeral mass will be an urn committal at 12:40 at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Mem, Boulder City, NV 89005.

Following the committal, there will be a gathering from 1PM to 5 PM at the American Legion BMI Post 40, 425 E Van Wagenen St, Henderson, NV 89015.
