What a wonderful tribute to your dad! Though I never met him, I feel like I know him by what you have written and all the work times with Heather catching up on his health progress.  He was blessed to have such loving and caring daughters.  You did an amazing job of taking care of him while he was here in Nevada. Blessings to all of you.

I'm sorry for your lost. I too had to face a lost, of a love one this month when my Brother-in-law past away. 

It's hard to prepare for this, but dead is a part life. We all have a pointed time to live and to die. Your dad is in a better place now. He's in heaven preparing the way for you and your sister as he did when you all were young.

So be of good cheer and never forget the smiles, the laughter and cherish the love you once shared. Because, your dad is not dead he is still alive. He's now with othe love ones that has gone on before him; singing, laughing and sharing stories about how they made it over.
