Jeanne A. Olsen, 95, of Henderson, passed away November 24, 2017. She was a co-founder of Bob Olsen Realty and Insurance, and a true pioneer businesswoman since 1950. The company expanded after her husband and partner, Bob, died December 23, 1973. Jeanne was a mother of three children, Peter, Dianne Bergemeyer and Barbara Peach, who succeed her in life. Jeanne remained active in community activities including, Henderson Chamber of Commerce board of Directors, Greater Las Vegas Board of Realtors, National Association of Real Estate Brokers Independent Insurance Agents of Nevada and Las Vegas Apartment Owners Association. Jeanne was instrumental in many local commercial development properties including the St. Rose Hospital expansion, Regina Hall Girl's School and numerous other projects. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 12, at Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, NV 89015. Entombment will follow at Palm Memorial Park-Henderson.
