Papa was a man pure of heart. No matter what terrible mistakes you made he would still love you fully. The best advice giver. He was the ideal family man. He was always there for emotional support. No one will forget the great man you are.

My daddy was the shining example  of shining example- kind to everyone. And I will miss his music not just for the sounds (which was VERY pleasant), but for the magic of it. He would find himself with another musician & just play along with them. It didn't matter which instrument they played or even if he had ever heard the song before. The music just instinctively flowed from under his fingers. I saw him join his sibs do this together a few times. I named this amazing force the "Wessman Magic." The memory of that & his example are quite a legacy. My promise to myself is to honor that legacy.

Dear Papa,
I love you so much! You are my Grandpa and always was there for us.  I am so honored to have met you and be apart of your family.  I will always remember our talks and definitely will read the book you gave me. Miss you always and forever. WE LOVE YOU! Erica, Grant, Jazmine, Asher and Roman

Dear Wessman Family,  Keith Wessman, I met while living in the 6th Ward. He Welcomed everyone into Church every Sunday, with a smile and a hand shake making you feel at home as a member of the Ward. He was a clean, fun jokester, I could feel his kindness in word and deed. He was a wonderful man, good example and he loved the Lord, you could see that through his actions, I remember singing in choir with him and enjoyed the music.He will be missed I know he is up singing with Lilly. Keith Wessman was a wonderful man he and my grandfather were best friends for the longest time I have fond memories of him always going home teaching with my grandpa them fixing cars and him playing the accordion he even played at my wedding Rip Papa Keith you will me missed by all

There is no denying he was a wonderful man. He was loved by many. He loved his gospel and everyone he knew. He was full of history and knowledge. We moved in with them when I was about 7. They made sure all our spiritual and temporal needs were met. I dare not think of who we would've become if it wasn't for them. If it wasn't for Papa I don't know if my mom and I would've become reactive in the church. I often question my ability to be a great Father, but I will never question my ability to be a great Grandfather because I learned from the best. When we would visit I would sit in his walker and listen to his stories. One day he conveyed to me that he was afraid that we wouldn't be able to get the rest of his Grandchildren active in the church before he passed. For the longest time I wanted him to give me a blessing but I never asked. I feared the day he would pass because I thought I would start drinking again and I feared I would give up but I will not. Thank you Papa for the love and memories and saving me and my family. You will be missed. I will do my best to live by your example and make you proud.

Dear Wessman Family,
You have been so blessed to have Keith and Lilly as your parents/grandparents. Keith was such a rock of strength and righteous example (as was your mother) to each of you. Now the torch is passed to their posterity to carry that Wessman light into the future. Remember who you are and the royal parentage from which you come. May you find comfort from On High during this tender time. I promise you that you will see your beloved loved ones again. Thank you Keith. Thank you for all you gave to so many.

Dear Wessman Children, you know that my love for your family extends across decades, and I am so grateful for the chance I had to know your sweet dad. He was always so willing to serve and help, and I know my parents have a deep friendship with both he and your mom. I imagine my dad and yours are having a nice reunion in Heaven, and I wish all of you peace and comfort at this difficult time. I'm glad your dad can now be with your mom, without the trials of an earthly body. It must be glorious for them, though sad for us. Please know that you are in my prayers.

Dear Wessman Family:

Your father was a good friend of mine, and my family, when I lived in Henderson. We were in the 6th Ward together. He always had a smile for every one. I loved to hear him play the Accordion. I'm so sorry for his family of his passing. He was a good man.

Our dear Brother Wessman, so sad to hear of his passing. So many dear memories of such a special man. He was always so kind and loving to every one, always had a smile for you. I remember how faithful and dedicated to his wife he was. He loved her so much, and was always so appreciative when folks came to see her. I remember the nice visits I had with Lily at her bedside. It was rare you saw her at church, because of her poor health, but she loved the gospel so much, and had a beautiful spirit. Brother Wessman and I, shared Choir together, Missionary Service, Talent Shows, and more. I always remember how he loved to share his love of the Accordion, performing in our church activites, and talent shows, always giving of his free service. The happy Mailman. He had a strong testimony, and loved the Lord and his family so much. I'm so happy for him, (but sad for the family) now together, with his beloved Lily, and those other family, friends who have passed on. May God give the family, peace and comfort during this difficult time.
