Larry "Babe" Hornyak, 72, of Henderson, passed away Nov. 13, 2010. He was born Sept. 10, 1938, in Erie, Pa., and was a 61-year resident of Nevada. He worked for the Desert Inn Hotel as an electrician supervisor for 31 years until he retired and was a 50-year member of the IBEW Local 357. He is survived by his wife, of 49 years, Billie Hornyak; children Beverly and Jerry Hornyak and Tracy Schultz; grandsons, Jerame and Danny Jolley and Tony Schultz; great-granddaughter, Cassidy Jolley; siblings, Rosemary Martin, Danny Hornyak, all of Henderson, and Joanne Hook of California. Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, at Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway in Henderson.
