Lawrence "Larry" Hay Lee, age 64, passed away on May 2, 2014 in Henderson, Nevada. He was surrounded by loved ones at the time of his passing. He was born September 10, 1949 in San Francisco, CA, to Henry and Ngan Ling Lee. Larry had an extensive career working for the US Navy and was stationed in Guam, Philippines, and Japan. He then retired in Henderson, Nevada, and had the opportunity to volunteer for many local organizations. Larry was an active scholar and had many interests including history, technology, cooking, travel, and outdoor activities. Larry is survived by his wife, Gina Lee; daughter, Hilary Lee; son, Roger Miranda; son, Bobby Miranda; sister, Benita Lee, sister Paula Lee Mahoney, brother Willie Lee, grandchildren, extended family, and a huge community of friends and colleagues. Memorial services for Larry will be at Palm Boulder Highway Mortuary on Friday, May 9, at 10 am. He will be buried at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
