Another year and holiday without you.  Life gets more and more difficult as I get older.  If often wonder what it would be like if you were still here with us.  All our family dynamics have changed and not for the better.  I wonder what you would look like now and what you would do with so many new great grandchildren.  They would love you. Wow today is 10 years without you for Thanksgiving. It is so hard to believe I have not seen or talked to you for that long.  These past 10 years have been a life long lesson of life. This Christmas was different, difficult and changed! I went to Uncle Dennis and Aunt Angie’s house for Christmas Eve; the conversation was about You and  mom and Federico and the blessing of many memories of family gatherings; you are loved and miss by your brother and sister they cry’s for you too! We called Uncle Freddy,  Aunt Erlinda and Baby Doll there still doing the best that they can; they love, cry and miss you both too!  Family tradition have changed a bit; you have you new great granddaughter Mia and she beautiful and it is amazing to see the blessing of a baby especially at Christmas time!!!  Ethan and Sofia and Gia are ready to rule the world! Your children gather every Christmas Eve with mom! Like all family we have grow with extended families we don’t do Christmas Day, we love each and understand that we can’t put all the responsibilities on Mom and Hostess for the Mostest (Loretta’s)! This year we felt the absent of both YOU and FEDE! The Love for you and Fede remains in us!!!! However, hurts that many changes we have had to accept. We still honor and respect your love, wisdom and knowledge and do you best with the teachings from both of you!  We are a blessed and powerful family because God Blessed us first and bestowed to us all  the most cherished and loving parents and brother and sisters in Christ and all our blessing of our children and the blessing of their children... Dad!
Another Christmas without you here. It's still just sad .  I know deep down in my heart you are always by our side, but that doesn't take the emptiness away.  We have had to learn to go on.  It's very difficult especially for mom.  She's the strongest one of us all that's for sure. All the things you and her learned and did in your marriage are what keep us in line.  You and mom are and were the perfect parents for us.  God knows why and what he does.  We have to have faith in him at times we even doubt but we are human. 
I wish you were her so you could have met Sofia and in 4 months Mia.  Sofia is a lot like you.  No nonsense kind of a girl. She let's you know if she like something no beating around the bush.  You would of loved her.

Coy I can't believe that it's been 4 years that our good Lord called you home! You would be disgusted with what the world has become. I have dedicated my self in prayer daily! The Lord has blessed me with Mother Angelica's sister of the  monastery! I miss you terribly but found peace with life, family and especially your going home! You would be so proud of your children, grandchildren and great grandchildren! Lorenzo and Cassandra are expecting another addition to our family! Ethan's doing better at school and will be preparing for Catechism! Brenda has return to St.Peters Church and has been called to teach the Catechism classes, Holy Eucharist and reader for the Church! Another holiday without you!  Today was like just another day!  As always it was to hot to even BBQ.  Mom and I spent the day at my house.  We talked about you as we always do, wondering of how you spent your day in heaven.  It's very sad that you are not here anymore.  It gets harder and harder to accept. Happy Fathers Day DAD! 
It took me sometime to find the words to express to you on a this special day what you have meant to me! It's been a hard week leading up to this day! Mom always dedicates a mass for you on all occasions and yes dad even on your real Birthday! All us kids showed up at your mass on Fathers Day! It was beautiful! It's been hard on us all not having you here with us! I know that I will see you again! Because when I see you, mom and our family I see heaven! I see you in so many things around me! I see you in your children and grand children and great  grand children! We speak like you and give our children the same advice exactly how you gave it to us! You are burnt in your minds and in our hearts! I do things to Ethan as you did when you'd play around with me! Ethan's so attentive when I share memories of you with him and something I do to him he said yes Papa Coy would do that to me! Ethans tell my quite often that he's going to heaven to see you ! I tell him the hell if you are! Not a day goes by that we don't speak your name and remember something you've done that makes us laugh. I thank God for  you and mom that HE chose you both to be our parents! We have learned though your teachings to love, forgive, help others and take one day at a time and live it to the fullest! All that you and mom have taught us we all have applied to our lives! I know that there must have been a great celebration in heaven not just on Fathers Day but everyday! Thank you dad you allowing your children be individuals and loving us unconditional! Mom prays morning, noon and night daily! Mom is one of the strongest woman we have every seen her faith, hope, and commitment to Christ is amazing! Her love for you never stops growing! She's is so needed here with us! We have been blessed to have had you as long as we did but we are human and we wanted more time with you! Your plan and purpose for Christ was done here on earth; and as hard as it is we are trying to understand why he called you home! Our lives have changed in many ways! Father's Day 2017
Dad!
Another Father's Day without you.  As time goes on it's harder to accept I will never see your smiling happy face again. I often think about the what if's but it's to late for any of that.  Your leaving us was final!  I try to show I'm strong but I'm really not.  I cry a lot for you in silence by myself mostly in the middle of the night when I wake up.  I know I should accept your passing by now but I can't.  My heart was broken and it will never be complete again. I do have a lot of happy times in my life but somehow it's not the same without you.  This is how I feel I cannot even begin to know how moms heart is broken and destroyed.  She lives her life now for the Lord.  She prays all day and night every single day for you that you are at the side of God.  You deserve that and so much more.  She prays for all us kids, grandkids, great grand kids and other family and friends.  She misses you more than anyone could ever imagine.  She lives by what you and her planned out for your life's.  She has so much faith in God and because of that she is able to go on.  I always knew she loved you but now I see how much she treasured your marriage and all the things the both of you did as a  couple.  I thank god he chose you to be my dad, I would not have wanted anyone else but you. You and mom are the greatest example of life. I'm glad you taught me to be strong, to work hard to respect and all the advice you gave me throughout my life.  That is how I live my life today with my family.  
I hope you are having a blessed day in heaven that's what you deserve.  I also know you have your hand on all of our shoulders and watch over us.

Easter 2017
Dear Dad!
Another Easter has come and gone.  We all got together at the park today.  Bear came from Denver, Melissa, Rick and the kids were all their.  The only ones missing was Freddy, Jeli and Sofi.  They were sick.  It was a nice day until the wind started and then we all left home.  You are always so missed at the family functions.  I miss you so much. I pray for you and ask you to pray for me with all my troubles.  When  I'm all alone I sit on the couch and talk to you and ask you for advise and wait for some kind of sign.  You always knew the right things to say.  Poor mom misses you more than ever now.   Each and every day and all day she prays and prays and prays.  She's a strong lady and she loved and adored you more than you ever knew.  You and mom had a beautiful marriage and it will be hard to fill those shoes.  Now getting older I see life so differently.  Things I thought were important really weren't.  Age changes the way you think, the way you feel.

Today you and mom are married 60 years.  That is amazing.  How the love you had for each other was a wonderful thing for us kids growing up.  You both taught is the way of life as it should be in a strong loving marriage.  You both were a great example. And mom continues your legacy and we learn more and more from her each day.  She is such a strong person and continues to push each and everyday without you.  I know it is very hard on her but I know you are so proud of her as we all are.

Dear Dad!
I wish I could see you one more time come walking through the door.  But I know that is impossible. I will hear your voice no more. Somehow I know you can feel my tears and you don't want me to cry.   But my heart is broken because  I can't  seem to understand how someone I loved so much had to die. I try to be strong and pray that God gives me the strength to somehow get me through as I struggle with this heartache that came the day I lost you. It seems so unreal that you will never come back.

It is so hard without you here.  I wish I could see you even for a little while even though I know it's not possible.  I often wonder what you are doing. Dear My Beloved Coy,
Today on December 1, 2015 would have been 59 yr of marriage. This is a day I will always cherish and never regret. I miss you so much and especially at night. I have learned to be by myself at home. I kiss your side of the bed and tell you goodnight. I am seeing a little bit better and hope to be able to see more and more each day. The kids have been very good to me and they all help me in there own way. I am very thankful to all of them. You would be so proud of this whole family that we created. The 3rd thanksgiving without you.   Very sad you are no longer here with us.  We miss you so much and especially mom.  She heart aches more each day that passes by.   This is the second fathers day without you. No matter what anyone says about grief and about time healing all wounds, the truth is, there are certain sorrows that never fade away until the heart stops beating and the last breath is taken.  If only RIP meant return if possible. I cant be strong all the time.  Sometimes I just need to be alone and let my tears out. 

 Yesterday I felt ok. Lorenzo got engaged to his girlfriend Cassandra Simmons. I'm very happy for them. But today I feel so sad I think of you and cry.  I miss you so very much and ask God why. This roller coaster  of emotions is the worst ride of my life. But I still thank the Lord for the time I had with you.

We just had another Easter and wasn't the same without you. But, WE know that you are at the Royal Table with the Lord; and conducting the choir and playing your guitar. Things haven't changed, family was up and early at the park, food was made out of love, and yes.. we were chasing paper plates. Everyone was at peace and showed so much love to one another. Your friends come around to say hello. But, the best of the days was seeing your grandchildren gleaming eyes with their Easter baskets.
