Patricia Pomper, 73, of Henderson, Nevada, passed away on May 7th. Pat was born to James and Johanna Donahue on June 24th, 1944 in Emmetsburg, Iowa, one of 10 children raised on the farm outside of Emmetsburg. Pat was a loving and giving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and friend.
Pat earned a 2-year business degree at Iowa Lakes Community College and held many positions, and for more than 20 years she was the office manager for her husband’s private practice. Pat was a consummate homemaker and gardener, and dabbled in many artistic endeavors including macramé, quilting, embroidery, drawing and painting.
Pat was proceeded in death by her parents, brothers Ron, Tom, James, and Bill, and sisters Elizabeth and Josephine. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Michael, sons Andrew (Sabrina), Edward (Hiliary), and daughter Sarah (Khal), brother Richard, and sisters Therese and Mary-Jean as well as many wonderful nephews and nieces. Her smile, laughter, kindness and love will be sorely missed.
No services are planned. A celebration of her life will be held in Chicago at a later date.
