Paul Raymond Ready

Paul R. Ready, 81, of Henderson, NV, formally of Leominster, MA passed away Tuesday, January 12th 2021 at Infinity Hospice in Las Vegas. Paul was born July 23, 1939 in Concord, MA to Frank J. and Doris E. (Raymond) Ready. He grew up in Fitchburg, MA and was a member of the Kingsman Drum and Bugle Corp. He joined and served in the Merchant Marines. Upon his return home; he went to work at Foster Grant where he retired and was a member of the 25-year club. Paul's love for children and sports showed with his years of coaching and managing in the American Little League on 12th street in Leominster, Massachusetts where he served as League Vice President. Paul also coached and managed for years in the Leominster Babe Ruth League working and helping kids along the way. Paul was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who could always be found watching a ballgame and making a joke. He is preceded in death by his parents Frank J. and Doris E. (Raymond) Ready, his brother Father Frank Ready and his wife of 51 years Elsie M. (Cosenza) Ready. He is survived by his son and daughter in law Paul E. and Allena Ready of Henderson, NV; his sisters Karen Weeks of South Yarmouth, MA; June Soos of The Villages, FL and Susan (Christopher) Broadhurst of Tampa, FL. Paul is also survived by 4 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great grandchild. Paul will be laid to rest next to his wife Elsie at Palm Cemetery in Henderson, Nevada.
