Philip Lawrence Vind

Philip Lawrence Vind, age 64, of Henderson, Nevada passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2023. He was born in Long Beach, California to his parents Gerald Herbert Vind and Barbara Jean (O'Hare) Vind. Raised in California, Philip graduated from high school, and shortly after, started a career working with the Union; he worked has a painter for the union for over 40 years.

On January 14, 1988, Philip would marry the love of his life, Cathleen Ann Nye in Orange County, California. The couple would be blessed with three sons. And as their family would grow; they were blessed with five grandchildren.

Philip was a loving husband, father and grandfather; who lived his life for his family. While, he enjoyed the outdoors hunting; or obtaining his Black Belt in Kempo Karate; he was always looking for a new project where he could use his hands to build something new; he loved to tinker. In his spare time he enjoyed the company of his grandchildren. Philip Will will truly be missed.

Philip was preceded in death by his parents Gerald and Barbara Vind; and his brother, Eric. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Cathy; his three sons: Erik, Daniel and his wife, Alissa, and Aaron; his five grandchildren; and his brother, Robert.
