Paulette was born March 4, 1945 to Mary Lou Pamplin In Middleton, Connecticut. She later moved to Amarillo,Texas and then to Henderson Nevada where she spent the rest of her life.
When Paulette was 16 years old her mother was killed in a car accident leaving her alone with her four siblings. Minnie E King Took Paulette in as her own. Paulette met Roy Lee Pryor at the Triple K Trailer Court they were married October 31, 1964.They have two sons Roy Allen and Dwayne Lee. They later divorced in 1985 but remained friends for the rest of her life.
Paulette joined the church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints. She held Many Callings in the church. She was a faithful visiting teacher, Cub Scout leader, primary teacher, Sunday school teacher, young woman’s leader and Gospel doctrine teacher.
Paulette served a full-time mission for the church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints in the Albuquerque new Mexico mission. There she served many wonderful people who influenced her life greatly.
Paulette loved the Lord and had a very strong testimony of prayer. Paulette found solitude in taking care of others, she lived a life of service. Taking in other people less fortunate than herself she became a faithful and devoted friend to everyone and shared her home with many. She could always be found bearing testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Even at the end she could be heard sharing with the nurses and CNA’s who took care of her.
We will miss her Example of sacrifice, very few people in this life will comprehend how much she was willing to give. She gave all of herself until the end.
Paulette is survived by her two children, Roy Allen Pryor- Tami- Saint George Utah, Dwayne Lee Pryor - Paige- West Jordan Utah, her seven wonderful grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She is also survived by her two siblings Anna Metz - Las Vegas Nevada, John Taylor Gray - LouAnn Gillespie Gray - Magnolia, Texas.
Paulette will be dearly missed by her family, friends and love ones. Her example of Christ like charity will be remembered by everyone that had the fortune to know her.
