Roy Emery Bean Jr.

Roy Emery Bean, 71, of Henderson, passed away on September 11, 2024, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Roy was born on October 31, 1952, in Wichita, Kansas. He graduated from Eisenhower High School in Rialto, California, and received an accounting degree from California State University in San Bernadino, California. He met and married Nancy Bean on May 29, 1976.

Roy proudly served in the Army in active combat in Vietnam and later served in the National Guard as a Technician. Roy also worked at Koch Industries and Statewide Fire Protection. Roy enjoyed working in the garage, fixing anything in disrepair for friends, family, and neighbors. Roy also enjoyed being in nature and camping with his family.

Roy is preceded in death by his father, Roy Bean Sr., his sister, Lynn Adcox, and his second son, Robert Bean. He is survived by his mother, Ester Bean, and his two sisters, Susan Wilkerson and Donna Bean; his wife, Nancy; his son, Roy (Sunshine Bean); Robert’s wife Janel Bean, and his daughter, Jessica Clark (Corey Clark); his five grandchildren, Samantha Bean, Cassidy Jordin (Odin Jordin), Emery Clark, Elise Clark, Jayla Bean and his two great-grandchildren, William Robinson III, and Hela Jordin and extended family and friends and his dog Missy.
