Steve was born in Kadoka, South Dakota, to Louis and Meta Radley. He attended Basic High School and shortly thereafter enlisted in the Marine Corps. After his time in the Marine Corps, he became a Heavy Equipment Operator, and was a sought after Crane Operator of Jake's Crane and Rigging. He was proud to have served at the 9/11 Ground Zero site as a rigging specialist with FEMA.
Steve is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Charlene; and their (5) children. Ronda, Jim, Michael, Steve Jr., and Toni. He is also survived by his sister Bertie, as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Louis and Meta, and siblings Marvin, Paulette, and Robert.
Steve loved camping, fishing, riding his 4-wheeler, cruising on his Harley, and watching old cowboy westerns and football.
