Theresa Jane Dufort

Theresa J. Dufort, 79 of Henderson, passed away February 22, 2016. She was born in Malone, N.Y, to Gilbert W. LaVine and Marguerite (Arbour) LaVine and was preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert & Marguerite (Arbour) LaVine, two brothers, Paul and Gerald LaVine of Malone NY. Theresa (Terri) was a 50 year resident of Nevada. She was a retired data entry clerk. Theresa (Terri) had a great personality and loved people. She was a wonderful mother and a great wife. Theresa (Terri) is survived by her son Gregory Dufort, (Veronica) of Las Vegas, daughters Pamela & Lisa Dufort of Henderson, NV, & Linda (Bayne) (Michael) of North Las Vegas: Five grandchildren, Samantha Lejeunes (Charles), Daniel Bayne (Brooke), Alexander & Michael Thomas Bayne and Denise Dufort and two great grandchildren: Andrew Bayne and Abel Carranza. Theresa is also survived by her two sister in-laws , Eileen and Shirley LaVine, nephews, Scott, Dean, Neil and Mark LaVine, Nieces, Paula (Walter) LaVine, Sherry Lou & Lisa, Nephew Joseph (Julie) Cartwright, and the extended Dufort (Herald Dufort) Family and the Robideau Family, nephew, Philip and nieces, Norma & Sarah and several great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, Friday February 26, with the service beginning at 2:00 pm with Deacon Dan, of St. Peters, presiding at Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Internment to be at the Sothern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. We love you, Mom and miss you, dearly.
