William Robert Ferguson, age 70, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away on Saturday, April 17, 2021. William was born May 29, 1950 in Roswell, New Mexico to his parents Dewey Bill Ferguson and Vera Hildebrandt. William served honorably in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. For his hard work and dedication to duty, he earned the rank of OS3 Petty Officer, and was awarded the National Defense Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Combat Action Ribbon, and a Meritorious Commendation Medal.
William was a retired plant operator, and a devoted father and grandfather, and will truly be missed.
William was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his daughter, Julianna Ferguson; son, Bryan Ferguson; granddaughter, Vera Wave Ferguson; and sisters: Connie West, Carol Noyes, Donna Lee, and Georgeanna Sparks.
William will be honored for his service on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 from 1:20 PM to 1:50 PM at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City, Nevada 89005.
