My deepest condolences and prayers to the family of Evelyn. I was deeply saddend by the loss of such a beautiful person, who everytime I bumped into her at work had an incredible smile and a beautiful attitude.  She will be grately missed by all who knew her!  May you Rest in Peace  Evelyn.

While I don’t work in your department, I was still blessed with the opportunity to interact with you, Evelyn. As I was still adjusting to my first office job, you helped me feel more welcome and confident there. I admired how we related to our introversion and modesty. I will miss your humor, kindness, and support. May you rest in peace, dear friend.

I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Evelyn (Panchita). Evelyn was the most positive, beautiful person and truly a remarkable person, and Evelyn's presence will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Our little corner of the office will just never be the same without you. You were the best kind of person. Trustworthy, straightforward, generous, authentic and so so funny! You seemed to have some kind of sixth sense for when others were having a hard time and would go out of your way to offer words of wisdom and encouragement. Everyone’s favorite tia. 

 I am really going to miss your fiery spirit and hearing you put people in check in the funniest, most New York way. I’m really grateful I had the opportunity to get to know you over these last 10 years and I wish you an eternity of peace.

I will miss our Tiki -Tiki chats . When we sat across each other we would reminisce about the Disco Era years and then  came free style  . Our favorite song that played at noon everyday “Eye of the Tiger”you would tell me turn it up and then you start signing the tune ! When they moved you I would crank call you once in awhile and play it for you when it came on the radio . One thing I can say you were a friend that always kept it real ! You had a special bond of friendship with so many we were all so lucky to have your friendship ! You were always smiling , giving advice , a helping hand , laughs , little cuss words lol you told it like it was !! That’s for sure !!! I will miss your afternoon rounds stoping st Silos then  you coming  by for some of “Wolfie’s” chocolate I always had in my drawer to share with you . 🤍🦋🤍

I’ll miss you pulling my hair to take me back to our section. I’ll miss you leaving chocolate wrappers on my desk. I’ll miss your sassiness. 

We will never be the same without you. Thank you for being my ears and the shoulder to lean on. You were the person who put me in my place or to get myself together when needed. 

I will forever cherish our talks, our laughs, your consejos, wisdom and all the amazing stories you shared with me. The purest, kindest soul to ever walk this earth. Thank you for encouraging me to travel more and enjoy life at its fullest. Thank you for loving my little boy as if he was your own. You will forever be his “Lyn” 

This hurts so much. I hope you’re dancing up there to freestyle, eating mangu tres golpes (Dominican breakfast) and sightseeing all these wonderful places. You will forever have a special place in my heart. I love you so much. I’m so glad our last moments were a hug and a kiss.
