Gilberto is survived by his wife, Lydia Amador; his daughter Olga Jeanette Amador; his son-in-law Moises Figueroa; his daughter Ruth Amador; his son-in-law Carlos M Huerta; his daughter Cynthia Marie Amador; his son-in-law Michael Brock; his daughter Aida Diaz; his son-in-law Anthony Diaz; his daughter Betty Jones; his son Gilberto Amador; and his son Jesus Resto; his sister Eleida Roman, his brother-in-law Juan Roman, his sister Aracelis Diaz, his brother-in-law Juan Diaz, his sister Raquel Torres, his brother-in-law Jose Torres, his sister Olga Amador, his brother Wilfredo Amador, his brother Roberto Amador and his brother Edwin Amador.

Gilberto was preceded in death by his brother Carmelo Amador and his brother Jose Amador; his . Victor Manuel Perez.

A visitation for Gilberto will be held on Monday, November 15, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 12:00 midnight at Caballero Rivero Hialeah, 373 W 9 Street, Hialeah, FL 33010. A funeral Mass will occur on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 starting at 10:00 AM at Corpus Christi Catholic church, 3220 NW 7 Ave, Miami, FL 33127. A committal service will follow the funeral Mass Tuesday, November 16, 2021 starting at 11:00 AM to Caballero Rivero Dade North, 1301 NW Opa Locka Blvd, Miami, FL 33167.
