On November 20, 1939, in Calabazar, Cuba, a beautiful child was born to parents Aurelio Martinez Cordero and Andrea Brache Alfaro. She would be Lovingly called Gloria Amelia Martinez Brache. On November 6, 2020, Gloria departed this life, thus finishing her earthly duties.
Gloria was a person who was full of life. Family and friends recall how much of an amazing dancer she was. She is remembered as a positive person who was always optimistic. Gloria was a social butterfly and very friendly. She could meet someone in one moment and it wouldn't be long before they were in deep conversation. Gloria was also very patriotic. Not only did she love her country of birth, Cuba, but she also had love for the United States of America, which became her second home. Quick witted, cultural and a great listener comes to mind when asking her Family to describe the type of person she was. She loved poetry, reading and music. Out of all the things in life that Gloria loved to do, her deepest and most prized possession was her family whom she loved with all her being.
In Memory of such a beautiful person, the Family will be having a Graveside Service on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. at Caballero Rivero Woodlawn West Cemetery, 14001 N.W. 178 Street, Miami, Florida, 33018. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be sent to LIGACONTRAELCANCER.ORG (The Miami Cancer League).
