Hilda Lara

Hilda Lara, beloved matriarch of her family, passed away on January 9, 2025, at the age of 95, in Opa-locka, Florida. She was born on December 25, 1929, in Cuba.

Hilda was a loving and devoted mother who spent her life caring for her family, ensuring their well-being, and creating a warm and welcoming home. Her love and strength were felt by all who knew her, and she touched the lives of many with her kindness, grace, and unwavering support.

A proud homemaker, Hilda dedicated herself to the happiness and comfort of her loved ones. Her legacy lives on in the cherished memories she leaves behind, as well as the values of love, compassion, and dedication that she instilled in her family.

A Visitation for Hilda will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 from 8:30 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Caballero Rivero Hialeah Funeral Home, 373 West 9 Street, Hialeah, Florida, 33010.

Hilda will be laid to rest at 2:00 P.M. at Caballero Rivero Woodlawn West Cemetery, 14001 N.W. 178 Street, Miami, Florida, 33018.

A mother's love is truly unmatched, and Hilda’s devotion to her children and family will be remembered forever. She will be deeply missed by those who had the honor of knowing her.
