My deepest condolences to the family. I'm sorry to hear that Norman is no longer with us and that his family is left with this painful void.

I had the pleasure of getting to know Norman during the early years of the Miami Arsenal Supporters Club (MASC) at Elwoods Pub. He had a calm demeanor and was the kind of person who would just sit quietly and absorb the atmosphere. That would of course change when Arsenal would score!

As the cofounder of MASC, I will always remember Norman as a key part of the Miami football community, one who was integral to helping us build a club that many were able to call their home away from home. In a city that's notorious for a lack of commitment, he always showed up, and he did it with a smile.

Thanks for all the memories, Norman; more importantly, thank you for sharing your time with us. You will be missed.

We shared a love for The Arsenal.  Enjoyed watching many matches.  

                    He was my brother
He shaped me and taught me so much. We were the same age and yet it always felt like he was my big brother. He looked after me so many times. When I saw him go through what he did near the end it was hard. It was even harder when I saw him getting better and acting like his old self. That remission made me believe he was going to continue on and keep doing the things that made him a good friend…but it was a sad false hope. 

We all have the good deeds and flaws that make up who we are. The moments where he took jokes too far, acted annoyingly stubborn and was always furious at some bogus call in a soccer game were the qualities that made him. I wish he could have had the chance to finish the dreams and desires he had yet to discover. He could have been more of an incredible person than he already was. I hate that I won’t make more memories or have new shared experiences with him but I’ll love the memories of him that will stay with me. The hangouts, pool parties, pranks and momentous conversations. I’ll miss you my friend and brother. You won’t ever fade from my heart. 

Norman did so much for me as a friend, I always felt like he was a big brother figure and was there to look out for me. He always loved having spontaneous adventures with our friends and pushed me to be a better version of myself. I’m still in disbelief, but I know that he didn’t leave this earth without having made an impact on his loved ones.

Norman, you were an unforgettable personality. You were fun to be around with. I hope you know that you will never be forgotten and that your memory will be forever lasting in each of our hearts! I will miss my soccer buddy! I love you.

I will miss your sweet light anytime you showed up and walked through my parents backyard, how I'll miss your presence at our yearly Christmas parties, how I'll miss you being the last one to go to sleep just to help me gather things, how I'll miss sending you home with trays load of food just to clear my kitchen, and receiving them with open arms. How I'll miss your selfless heart. 

Your letter to us meant so much! I'm glad I was able to express how much we loved it and appreciated it, and how we will hang it up one day! There's no doubt it still will! But now you'll have your own special place on the wall for us! I Love You Mi Primito Lindo!! Que Dios te Quarde siempre!
