On March 13, 1954, in Cuba, a beautiful child was born to parents Rolando and Laura. His parents would affectionately name him Rolando. On Thursday, March 16, 2023, Rolando passed away, leaving behind so many loved ones who will miss him greatly.
Rolando is remembered as a kind and caring man who was there for anyone who needed him. He was always willing to give without asking or expecting anything in return. He was a man who enjoyed everything "old school", especially when it came down to music. He would listen to everything old school from Motown to Rock & Roll, especially The Beatles. Rolando also enjoyed watching sports and he was a big fan of The Dolphins. He was a great cook and dancer and who enjoyed a nice drink, especially Johnnie Walker.
Loving, hardworking, devoted are some of the many words that were used to describe him. He was a joyful and calm person who couldn't hurt a fly! He was a great support to those around him as he was the type of person to never give up on you. At work, Rolando was called "The Godfather" and this was a name that stayed throughout the years. Even though Rolando was a man of many accomplishments, his pride and joy was his Family. He was a dedicated and adoring husband and thee absolute best father and grandfather! He was indeed a family man.
In Honor of his Life, Love, and Legacy, a Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 from 6:00 P.M. until 12:00 A.M. at Caballero Rivero Hialeah Funeral Home, 373 West 9 Street, Hialeah, Florida, 33010. Rolando will be laid to rest on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at 11:30 A.M. at Vista Memorial Gardens, 14200 N.W. 57 Avenue, Miami Lakes, Florida, 33014.
