Born on August 12, 1931, in Cuba, Sergio was a beloved father, and grandfather. He carried with him a deep love for his homeland and the sea that surrounded it. That love for the ocean remained a constant throughout his life, bringing him comfort, perspective, and joy.
Sergio emigrated to the United States in pursuit of a better future and planted roots in Miami, where he became part of the vibrant Cuban-American community. A hardworking man with a generous heart and a quiet strength, he dedicated his life to his family, instilling in them the values of resilience, compassion, and pride in their heritage.
He is survived by his four children, who will forever cherish his wisdom, warmth, and unwavering support, as well as several grandchildren who brought light and laughter to his later years. Sergio’s legacy lives on in their lives and the many stories they will continue to share.
