Walt is survived by his wife, Joan Dworak, and his children Marty Dworak, Alyssa Dworak, and Fran Macfarlane; daughter in laws, Maria Dworak and Johanna Macfarlane; and grandkids Cameron Dworak, Aaliyah Macfarlane, Jake Murillo, Sophia Dworak, Hannah Willis, Jayden Macfarlane, Gianna Willis, and Bria Willis. He was predeceased in life by his daughter, Samantha Macfarlane and parents Walter and Carolyn Dworak. Walt was loved by so many close friends and cousins who were important members of his extended family.
Walt grew up in Pennsylvania and served in the US Army from 1969 through 1971 and was stationed in Korea. After returning home from the Service, Walt relocated to Miami Florida where he enjoyed a 40 year career at the FAA and subsequently continued his career supporting the FAA through LS Technologies.
Walt had a passion for life and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, working at the FAA, living in Miami, and enjoying so many of the benefits of living in South Florida. He was particularly known for his organizational skills, positive attitude, dedication to his fitness, love for reading, and generosity to those that he cared about.
A service of Celebration and Thanksgiving will be held for Walt Dworak on October 8, 2022 at 1:30 PM at:
Poinciana United Methodist Church

Followed by a Repass from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at:
Miami Springs Aquatic Center
