Andrea Sue Heafner Maske, 70, of Hickory, died peacefully, February 6, 2017 at Sherrills Ford Hospice House. Born March 13, 1946 in Charlotte, NC, Sue was the daughter of the late Grady Anders Heafner and Pauline Katherine Smith Heafner. She was previously employed in insurance and retail sales.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Clyde Steven “Steve” Maske and son, Gregory Maske.
Sue is survived by her sons, Jeffrey Maske and wife Tammy of Claremont, and Keith Maske and wife Amy of Conover; grandsons, Christopher, Shea and Brandon Maske.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2017 in the Chapel of Drum Funeral Home in Hickory, with Rev. Peggy Stout officiating. Burial will follow in Dudley Shoals Baptist Church Cemetery in Granite Falls, NC.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. - 1:45 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Catawba Regional Hospice, 3975 Robinson Road, Newton, NC 28658.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
