Doug was born May 19, 1960 in Catawba County to the late Floyd Wayne Baker and Libby Jane Cloer Baker.
Survivors include his daughters, Sarah Otto and Stephanie Otto, a brother Michael Baker and his wife Susan of Conover, a sister, Laura Baker Smith and husband James of Newton, nephews Jesse Smith of Newton and Charles Baker of Conover.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday Feb 13th at 3:00 PM at Hickory Funeral Home Chapel.
