BETTY EULISS SEITZ HICKORY-Betty Euliss Seitz, 83, of Hickory passed away on January 19, 2015 at the Brian Center East. Born on September 20, 1931 in Burke County, she was the daughter of the late Verl L. and Geneva Wilson Euliss. Betty was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church for over thirty years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James L. (Jim) Seitz; sisters, Becky Young, Evelyn Yount, Patsy Clark; and brother, Clinton Euliss. Survivors include her daughter, Debbie Snipes and husband Scott of Hickory; grandchildren, Aaron Snipes of Austin TX, Brooke Snipes of Hickory; sister, Mary Jane Townsend and husband James of Waxhaw, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 23, 2015 at 1 PM at Catawba Funerals & Cremations with Rev. Arthur O. Yount officiating.
