Beulah Herman Sipe

Beulah Sipe, 97, went to her heavenly home December 12, 2015 at the home after a period of declining health. Beulah was born August 30, 1918 in Catawba County to the late S. T. Herman and Rancie H. Herman. She also preceded in death by her husband Elmer Eugene Sipe and a daughter, Dr. Doris Elaine Sipe, two sisters; Edith H. Bowman and Mary H. Weaver. Beulah was a charter member of Our Savior Lutheran Church, where she was an active member of the L W M L. She retired from Bethlehem Draperies as a seamstress. Surviving is her daughter Martha Sipe Houston and husband Tommy of Bethlehem; grandsons Scott Houston and wife Kim of St. Augustine Fl.; Marty Houston and wife Stephanie of Claremont; and Andy Houston and wife Lorie of Hickory; and six great grandchildren, two sisters; Pearl H. Poovey of Hickory, Joan H. Barnes of Taylorsville, a brother; Luther R. Herman of Hickory. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 15th from 10:00 AM till 10:45 AM at Our Savior Lutheran Church of Hickory. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday December 15th at 11:00 AM at Our Savior Lutheran Church with Rev Mark Seaman officiating. Interment will be held at Pisgah Cemetery immediately following the service. The family wishes to thank her caregivers, Valerie, Tracey, Connie and especially Hospice representatives Amy, Katie, Shoua and Beverly.
