Billy was born on April 29, 1932 in Burke County, NC, he was the son of the late Will Wycoff and Mary Jane Moore Wycoff. Bill served in the US Marine Corp and was a member of Westside Baptist Church in Maiden NC.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Frances Sue Miller Wycoff; sister, Dorothy Aldridge Joyce Hoyle, and Frankie McNeeley; brothers, Clyde, Guy, James, Willard and Paul Wycoff.
He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Wilma Wycoff; son, Gary Wycoff; step sons, Christopher (Sue) Goodwin, Bishop Goodwin and Eddie McClure; step daughter, Gail (Dale) Shelton and Patricia (David) Ownes.
A Funeral Service will be held at Catawba Memorial Park, Funerals & Cremations Saturday, January 13, 2018 at with Pastor William “Bud” Painter officiating. Burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00 to 12:45 pm at the Funeral Home.
