Bobby Perry Brown, Sr., age 84 of Mt Holly passed away on Friday, August 28, 2015. Bobby was born in Lenoir, North Carolina, son of Henry Arthur Brown and Beulah Bradley Brown In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Clarence Henry Brown. He is survived by his daughter, Darlene Brown Smith of Gastonia; son, Bobby Perry Brown, Jr. of Mt. Holly; grandchildren, Dustin M. Smith, (wife Jennie) Allyson E. Smith, Katherine G. Brown, Jeremy Walker, (wife Lindsay) and special friend Lessie Wooten; brothers, Donald Brown of Belmont and Laverne Brown, ( wife Elaine) of South Port. A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm Monday, August 31, 2015 at Catawba Memorial Park, Hickory, North Carolina. Visitation will be from 11:30-12:30pm Monday at Catawba Funeral Home in Hickory. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to First Assembly Church of God, Gastonia.
