She was born on April 6,1956 to the late James Grady Tucker and Mary Johnson Tucker in Catawba County.
Along with her parents, her father, Samuel P. Harper; brothers, Johnny Ray Tucker, Donald Neal Tucker, and James Grady Tucker Jr.; sisters, Mary Frances Chapman, Barbara Ann Tucker; grandsons, Shaquan Allred and Michael Tucker, Jr. preceded her in death
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Kesha Tucker; sons, Christopher Allred, Thomas Allred, Michael Tucker, Anthony Allred; grandchildren, Christopher Allred Jr.,Corey Allred, Sidney Tucker; brother, Douglas Nelson Tucker; and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Nov. 2,2024 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Hickory Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 until 2:45 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Steve Wingate will officiate the service.
