Dear Retta and Family,
My deepest sympathy to you all.
I grew up across the street from Charles. He was always friendly and kind to my sister, brothers, and me. I remember the twinkle in his eyes when he smiled. Charles was the epitome of a fine person of character. I hope you will find comfort in your happy memories. Peace be with you all.
