Clara Elizabeth Little

Clara was born July 11, 1915 in Catawba Co. to the late Jacob and Ida Mae McGill Lutz Sr. She was married to the late Percy C. Little.

She was a member of Viewmont Baptist Church and worked for Hickory Paper Box for 40 years.

Surviving are her, daughter, Betty Brooks Rhoney, Columbia, SC and a son Terry Lee Brooks and wife Gail of Charlotte, NC. Also granddaughters Sarah Rhoney of Columbia ,SC and Susan B. Smith of Charlotte and two grandsons Andrew Brooks of Charlotte and Jonathan Brooks of Indianapolis, Indiana. Also surviving are Percy D. Little Step Son of Newton, Marlene Cole stepdaughter of Cincinnati, Ohio and Roy Little of Cornelius. Three sisters Florene Moore of Kannapolis, Helen Bowman of Newton and Martha Sigmon of Newton

She was preceded in death by a granddaughter Beth Rhoney and two brothers and two sisters.

Services will be Sunday 3:00 PM Dec. 5, 2010 at Hickory Funeral Home Chapel with The Reverend Sandi Hood officiating. Interment will follow in St Paul’s Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at Hickory Funeral Home Sunday 1:45 till 2:45 PM
