Clarence was born March 17, 1940 in Catawba County to the late Everett and Julley Roberson Young.
He was a US Army Veteran and retired from Hickory Springs.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife who passed away in 2007, Cathy Ann Propst Young, two sisters and four brothers. Surviving are a number of nieces, nephews and other family members.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2013, at 2:00 P. M. at Hickory Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Ronnie Watts officiating. Burial will follow in Catawba Memorial Park..The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 13, from 12:45 PM until 1:45 P.
