

Pete was born August 18, 1927 in Caldwell Co. to the late Clyde Anderson Bolick, Sr. and Blanche Lucille Nail Walker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Faye Rebecca Bowman Bolick, a son, Stephen Clyde Bolick, sister, Martha Lou Hoke, brother, Billy R. Bolick and a step father, Rev. Ira F. Walker.
He was a member of St. Stephens Lutheran Church, Mo Synod, retired from Montclair Furniture and a veteran of WW II. He was a lifelong member and former commander of American Legion Post #48.
Surviving are daughters, Kathy Moretz and husband Ken, Susan Rudisill and J. D. Robinette all of Hickory, grandsons, Brandon Buff and wife, Amy, Andy Rudisill and Scott Bolick all of Hickory, great -grandchildren, Harley Buff and Nathan Buff both of Hickory, step grandsons, Nathan Moretz and Andy Moretz and wife, Emily both of San Diego, CA, step granddaughter, Meghan Moretz of Hickory and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life service will be Saturday, February 12, at 11:00 A. M. at St. Stephens Lutheran Church, Mo Synod with the Reverends David Guelzow and David Ziehr officiating.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery with graveside military honors conducted by American Legion Post #48.
The family will receive friends following the service.
