Connie Anita Allen McCoy, 70 of Conover went home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 2nd, 2024.
Born on May 27th, 1953 in Mecklenburg County, NC, Connie was the daughter of William and Geraldine Allen. She was a dedicated nurse and care manager, who cared greatly for others. She was loved by her family and will be dearly missed.
She was a loving wife to Dennis Ronald McCoy, who went to be with the Lord in 2018.
Those left to cherish her memory include her mother, Geraldine Allen; two sisters, Sandra Cathey and husband, Jim and Cheryl Haskell and husband, Sid; a son, Thomas McCoy and wife, Wendy and 2 grandchildren, Anna Marie, and Jameson, as well as, numerous other family members.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Catawba Funeral Home on Thursday, February 8th, 2024 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Jeff Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Methodist Church of Conover in Connie’s name.
