

She was born on February 22, 1932 to the late Luther Q. Reinhardt and Swannie Canipe Reinhardt in Catawba County. Dorothy worked for G&H Hosier for 35 years, My-Sox for 15 years and before retirement, she was the secretary for Alex Barringer Accounting.
Along with her parents, her loving husband; Alex Samuel Barringer; daughter, Dottie Ford; grandchild, Evan Ford; siblings, Frances Hilton, Hazel Younts, Norman Reinhardt, Paul Reinhardt, infant sister, Betty Ann Reinhardt; and infant brother, James Reinhardt preceded her in death.
Survivors include her son, Tim Barringer and wife Judy; daughters, Alice Barringer, Sherrie Carroll and husband Mike; Denise Little and husband David; grandchildren, Jessica Bolt, Jennifer Carroll, Keely Schonewolf, Morgan Little, Christy Kunes; great grandchildren, Emma Bolt, Duncan Bolt, Courtney Bridges, Camryn Deal, Marcy Kunes; great-great grandchild, Aslan Bridges; and sister, Helen Cline.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 1, 2023 at 11:00 a.m.at Fairview Cemetery. Pastor Ernie Richards will officiate the service.
