Born in Lincoln County on July 31, 1957, she was the daughter of Dorothy Barringer and the late Alex Barringer.
In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her son Evan Ford.
Dottie is survived by her husband Randy Ford of the home; her daughter Keely Schonewolf and husband Jackson of Hildebran; her mother Dorothy Barringer; sisters Sherrie Carroll and husband Mike of Virginia, Denise Little and husband David of Hickory and Alice Barringer of Huntersville, and her brother Tim Barringer and wife Judy of Conover.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 11, 2023 from 2:30 pm to 3:45 pm at Hickory Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at 4:00 pm at Hickory Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Addie Jo Schonewolf officiating.
