Eloise Bolick

Eloise Hawkins Bolick, 92 of Lenoir went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 15th, 2025, at The Shaire Center in Lenoir, NC surrounded by her loved ones.

Born on April 3rd, 1932, in Wilkes County, NC, Eloise was the daughter of the late Ben and Hettie Sanders Hawkins. Eloise loved spending time with her family and was a special part of the family. She was loved by her family and will be dearly missed.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Aaron Bolick; 4 sisters, Violet Hawkins, Zelma Coffey, Dean Annas and Naomi Beane and 4 brothers, Perry Hawkins, Ross Hawkins, and 2 infant brothers.

Those left to cherish her memory include, her sister, Novella Benfield and husband, Jerry and Vernice Whisnant; 2 brothers, Hurley Hawkins and Grady Hawkins and wife, Linda, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Catawba Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 19th ,2025 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Gene Gouge officiating. She will be laid to rest at Catawba Memorial Park following the service.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The American Heart Foundation or The American Diabetes Association in Eloise’s name.
