Born in Catawba County on September 24, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Nora Bausch Killian.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband William Coyne, her second husband Roy Wilson; her sons William “Bill” Coyne and Matthew Alan Coyne; a sister Doris Annas and a brother Robert Killian.
She is survived by her daughter Cathy Laxton and husband Terry of Hickory; daughter-in-law Jane Coyne of Hickory; step-daughters Kim Byrd of Elizabeth City, NC, and Sandy Propst and husband Jimmy of Hickory; step-son Marty Wilson and wife Sara of Waverly Hall, GA; grandchildren, Kyle Byrd, Gennis Edwards, Craig Wilson, Ann Howe, Kayla Frye, Mandy Kinard, Claire Starnes, Mary Bentley, April Coyne, William Coyne, Ian Laxton and Tyler Laxton; eight great grandchildren; a sister Mary Black of Hickory and a brother George Killian of Hickory.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 17, 2021 1:00pm at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church outside at columbarium with Reverend Ryan T. Ray officiating. Inurnment will follow service.
